Kerala Trails - Stitching fishing nets in the backwaters of Kureepuzha, Kollam district, Kerala


A fisherman stitching small holes arising out of wear and tear in the Chinese fishing net before dusk. Fishing in the backwaters of Kureepuzha, Kollam district in Kerala is done only at night in the darkness using lights hanging above the net to attract fish into the net.
