Protesting over the inaction of the government in reducing VAT on petrol and diesel, fuel pump dealers will continue to keep the outlets shut between 8 - 10 p.m.
Rajendra Singh Bhati, president of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, said that they are still awaiting a decision from the government.
“If the decision does not come, we will have no option but to go on indefinite strike from October 2 and the fuel stations will remain closed completely. Stations will be shut on October 1, 2023 between 6 am and 6 pm."
