Road route to Chupir Char (oxbow lake) in Purbasthali from Kolkata
Kolkata to Purbasthali = 120 kms approx.
Purbasthali in Burdwan East district in West Bengal is famous for its oxbow lake and is a beautiful spot.
There are two road route options:
Option 1: Kolkata - Krishnagar via NH34 - Nabadwip - Parulia crossing - Purbasthali.
Purbasthali railway station to Chupir Char = 3 kms.
Option 2: Kolkata - Mogra via old NH2 - Jirat via Assam Link Road - Kalna - Nabadwip - Parulia crossing - Purbasthali..
Kalna to Purbasthali = 40 kms.
Nabadwip to Purbasthali = 8 kms.
