Kms Of India - non Kannadigas are not beggars

Just because most IT companies have set up shop in Bangalore and people from rest of India have migrated to the state, that doesn't mean that non Kannadigas are beggars.
These and similar signages across Bangalore and in rest of Karnataka are telltale signs of 'pride before a fall' 😑
When will people learn to identify themselves as Indians πŸ€”

The story of Vikram Agnihotri of Indore is one of sheer grit and perseverance

I am happy to introduce to all a star fan/ member of Indian Roadie wef early September 2017. His story is one of sheer grit and perseverance.

Life imposed a big challenge on Vikram Agnihotri at the age of 7 when he met with an electrical accident, which led to amputation of both his upper limbs.  But his family and he met this challenge with great courage. He has not only overcome the physical challenge but also gone-on to achieving many remarkable feats, like writing with foot, operating the laptop, shaving, swimming, to name a very few.  His zest for life has inspired many and has reinforced the power of the human spirit in peoples mind.

Vikram Agnihotri has the distinction of being the first Indian to be issued a permanent driving licence for driving a 4-wheeler, a feat worthy of an entry in the Limca Book of Records 2017-2018 edition.The official certificate acknowledging his remarkable achievement has been annexed for you perusal. He had to struggle for 2 years to overcome the apathy and ignorance towards the needs of the differently abled people before the Govt. of India finally succumbed to his demand.  He has not only got himself the licence but also initiated an amendment in the Motor Vehicle Act, opening the door for millions of differently abled Indian aspiring for a driving licence. Vikrams’ passion for driving is evident from the fact that he is a professional rally driver, regularly participating in national rallies. Vikram's inclusion will be a big boon for Indian Roadie.

Vikram has done his school graduated from Bonn American High School, Bonn, West Germany, in 1985 at the age of 15 yrs. only.  Awarded the Presidential Academic Fitness Award personally signed by the then US President Mr. Ronald Reagan for academic excellence.He is a graduate in Commerce(1st Div.) & post-graduate in Economics, from Indore Christian College, Indore. Vikram feels that there is no age bar for learning and as long as you keep educating yourself you will remain young.  In 2014, at the age of 44, he enrolled for the LLB Hons. programme and successfully concluded the same in July 2017.

Vikram has a truly entrepreneurial spirit and has had the experience of running several business enterprises.  He has owned and managed a Non-banking finance company, a knitwear stitching factory producing export quality knitwear and an Ingot casting mini steel plant. He is the proprietor of M/s Agni Gas Agency, a H.P.C.L LPG distributorship.

Vikram has been elected to the post of Member Managing Committee of the prestigious Yeshwant Club, Indore.  He was elected with a record number of votes,highest ever in the history of the club.  Vikram is very passionate about playing football and has represent Bonn American High School and Yeshwant Club in football.  He has been the Convener YC Football Sub-Committee on several occasions.  Vikram, an adept swimmer,  enjoys working-out in the gym.  He is also a keen aero-modeller (flying radio controlled planes).

With the intention of spreading the message of hope and courage, he has established a non-profit organization called Vital Spark.  Under the banner of WIL – Winners in Life, he has conducted several motivational training programmes and lectures.  His motto is very simple – NEVER GIVE-UP and LIVE LIFE TO THE MAXIMUM.  Vikram is also the District President of SAKSHAM (SAMDRISHTI, SHAMTA VIKAS AND ANUSANDHANMANDAL), an NGO working for the welfare of Divyang with the ideals of seva and advocacy.

Vikram has never let the circumstances or situation get the better of him. He has overcome many challenges by sheer determination and hard work and he continues to be a role model for the entire society.

The lessons life taught him to become what he is today, now pave way for others to learn from him. Interacting with him is a life time experience for the youth.

Kia Seltos 2023 - ADAS feature demonstration

KIA Motors in India with its Kia Seltos 2023 has also jumped into the fray to produce more 'chapri' (squid) drivers for Indian roads by adding the automatic emergency braking feature. Earlier, it was Mahindra XUV700 who had introduced the ADAS feature.
Every third person in the driver's seat of an expensive car as these in India is a techie. He has to embrace technology and produce FaBo Reels and YouTube videos with iPhone13 in one hand and a pizza in the other even while the car cruises at anywhere between 40 and 140 kmph.
If the owner driver's rank in the state level engineering  entrance exam was 79,463 instead of 27,377 the probability of him trying out the efficacy of the feature seated in the rear seats or in the front passenger seat increases manifold 😑.

P.S: Senior Kia officials who are followers of Indian Roadie and associated forums can message me and confirm if I am right in partially mapping the ideal demographic profile of users of the ADAS feature in Kia Seltos 2023.

Do not rest your hand on the gearstick while driving

It's a bad driving habit to rest your hand on the gearstick while driving. That can be harmful for the transmission!

The gearstick is connected to a selector fork, which is designed to make contact with a rotating collar for a short duration of time.

If you rest your hand on the gearstick, you risk applying pressure to the selector fork, causing premature wear. Some owner’s manuals specifically advise against resting the hand on the gearstick.

Many modern cars feature a gearshift indicator light, advising you when to change up or down a gear. These tend to be set for economy, so more often than not you’ll be short-shifting to maximise efficiency.

However, you need to keep an eye on the downshift icon or be prepared to change down when necessary.

Accelerating at low rpm, or in too high a gear, means that the engine is working harder, placing unnecessary strain on the engine. Change down and allow the RPM to rise before changing up. This is particularly important when carrying heavy loads or when climbing hills.

Rohit Singh, his bashed up Tata Altroz and the ubiquitous 'Thank you Ratan Tata for saving my life'

Art, viz. DKL Altroz in its new avatar.
Name of the architect (karigar), Rohit Singh.

One Rohit Singh who claims to be from Pratapgarh in UP bashed up his DKL Altroz, survived and then the ubiquitous thanks followed, viz.
"Everyone is safe, heartfelt thanks to Ratan Tata ji".

Dear Rohit Singh, Tata ji is so happy on reading that you thanked him for surviving that he has invited me for a dinner of chole bhature outside Prayagraj railway station.

The art and the thanks within inverted commas have been copied from another forum for Tata Altroz owners and fans.

Why do most DKL Tata owners 'thoko' their cars so often?

P.S: This post is more about behavioral trends of most Tata passenger vehicle owners and is for my own safety by exposing them.

Rotten English in Indian Roadie is not acceptable

If anyone in Indian Roadie and associated forums write Rotten English, viz.
'Cirtificate',
'Collage of Engineering'
instead of what is correct, I will point out the errors in not too palatable words. These are not unheard and unseen words whose spellings need to be checked in a dictionary.

In Bengal Roadie,  one is at liberty to write in Bangla, too.

I have studied in schools and colleges and worked in world famous MNCs where 'chalta hai attitude' and 'mediocrity' were never tolerated.
Therefore, while interacting in Indian Roadie associated forums, please be responsible and careful, too.

Indian Roadie and associated forums are extremely particular about Quality Over Quantity and Class Over Mass.

Terrible intellect of Admins of car owners groups in social media

Hats off to the terrible intellect of Admins (including, the fans/ members/ enchutiasts) of scores of social media groups of brand specific automobile fans and owners, viz. MSC Lovers and Enchutiasts, VWC Owners Fans and Enchutiasts, TMC Fan And Enchutiasts Club India, MMC Owners and Enchutiasts, Callous Night Drivers From Kolkata, etc 🀭.

The Admins, Members/ Followers of these forums with factual errors in almost every post want discussions and contents pertaining to their own brand of cars (say) Alto, Nexon, i20, Tiago, Harrier, etc only.     Read on  .......

--- A general discussion on Fine Driving Gyanology (viz. safe driving tips) is frowned upon.

--- A general discussion on lubricants, brake oils, greases, tyres, injectors, sensors, paints, malfunction indicator lamps, etc, are beyond their ability to grasp and are obviously frowned upon since there's no mention of the brand.

--- Is it that a warning post to make motorists aware of the right moves by authorities to ensure safe driving on Samruddhi Expressway, Agra Lucknow Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway not applicable to Nexon owners? πŸ€”

--- Is it so that Nexon or Alto or Tiago or Brezza owners are allowed to drive with worn out tyres while those driving other brands of cars are debarred on the same Expressways πŸ€”

--- Is it that car owners in brand/ model specific social media forums (including their Admins/ Moderators/ Fans/ Enchutiasts) NEED NO HELP on batteries, lubricants, inflators, road routes and conditions, contacts of local garages, speed limits or police restrictions on roads, info about road blockages, info on hotel eateries, info on local mechanics who can possibly get a car back to life in Lalitpur or Annavaram or Dindigul, hill driving tips, info on emergency healthcare facilities between Barasat and Krishnanagar, etc, etc πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

--- More importantly, is it that the Admins and members of such forums (with anything between 600 to 60,000+ members/ followers) are only too happy seeing repeat posts about:
* BREAKING (🀭),
* PPF,
* Mileage of 25.3 kmpl and why not 26.1 kmpl (🀭),
* Should insurance be claimed or repairs done at own cost,
* Build quality and ridiculing cars which perform almost flawlessly,
* Infotainment,
* ADAS,
* and the likes.

My own initiatives, viz. Indian Roadie (page and group) and Associated Forums Of Indian Roadie are focussed on Quality Over Quantity and Class Over Mass.

My initiatives are followed by the senior management team (including a few Chief Executives and Managing Directors) of 9 out of the 23 car manufacturers in India, 3 two-wheeler manufacturers, 1 electric vehicle manufacturer, 3 automotive battery manufacturers, 2 PSU oil marketing cos, 4 MNC lube manufacturers, 2 of the MNC auto electical manufacturers, 3 tyre manufacturers, etc, etc, etc.

If the need be, my members have received unprecedented favourable assistance directly from the top management team and/ or the distribution channel of the principals.

Search and download pdf files of old issues of Indian Roadie eGranth (monthly eBook). You will get some idea of the claims.

If you are a matured motorist (read, roadie) + willing to learn and share all your good and bad experiences directly on Indian Roadie and associated forums, I can assure you that there will be thousands of INDIANS (not necessarily Marathis, Bengalis, Tamils) to virtually (and even physically) hanhold you across the length and breadth of India on the road and off the road, too.

Wheel and hub of Tata Tigor got detached from moving car in Pune on 2023-07-16

This is to call out the pathetic and life and death situation we faced due to Tata Motors.

We bought Tata Tigor in March 2022, since then there were many mechanical faults that company owned upto and repaired, e.g battery dead within a year, vehicle delivered with dents, suspension of the car wearing out etc we cooperated and understood until last Sunday (2023-07-16) when while we were driving left side rear wheel comes out of the car and the car skids on the road for about 200m. We were shocked and thankfully safe all thanks to our stars and not Tata Motors for saving our lives.

We informed the dealership RUDRA Motors PUNE right there but since then they have lame excuses to the event and no concrete solution which leaves me with no option but to make other buyers like us aware.

It's been three weeks since this incidents and i haven't heard anything that really feels like a resolution to our issue. The dealership just wants to say sorry and wants us to accept it and sit quietly as no major accident happened that day.

That day could have changed the course of our lives had the car been on a busy road and in speed. It would have hit the car in front and there would have been major accidents that could harm not only our life but of others. That tyre could have hit any two wheeler rider or pedestrians which again could be life threatening

It's a CNG car, had the car been in speed, or on a busy road the intensity of this accident could have not only affected us but other lives as well. Now I would not be shocked if some day the car catches fire and company still gives lame excuses for it

I don't see any effort or understanding of the situation on Tata Motors Cars  side. I'm ready to fight this in court if need be but I'll not let this matter settle on just a plain sorry and let the company get by of the life threatening situation that they have put us into.

With so many mechanical faults and issues coming out Tata should have recalled the vehicle, instead they are trying to give us a faulty car at the expense of our life. We put in our hard earned money into buying that car and gave in same amount of money as any other Tigor owner why should I do away with faulty car...is that our mistake?

Can we get a justified resolution to our issue?

(Copied verbatim from Shikha Godayal  who had to go through a scary and life threatening experience because of choosing a Tata passenger vehicle from the Tata Motors stable, a company still struggling to give customers an almost failproof car even after 30+ years).

We in Indian Roadie, Tata Owners And Brand Admirers, Tata Nexon Owners And Brand Admirers, Road Travel And Automobiles fully empathize with the harrowing experience of Shikha Godayal.
There will still be some retard Tata fanbois who will quip that whatever might have happened, at the end of the day you have a strong Tata car ..... utter nonsense 😑

If Shikha Godayal (presently in Pune where the incident happened in July 2023) would not have posted the video/ photos, those retard fanbois would have gone to the extent of questioning her if she owns a Tata car at all or if she had written all that after getting paid by some other car manufacturers!

TTF 2023, Kolkata

The evening of Thursday 13th July was spent with hotelier friend and fellow Indian Roadie Saju Chacko at Saturday Club, Kolkata. Ever since we met for the first time in Munnar in Kerala in March 2015 when I had driven down from Kolkata, Saju keeps driving to Kolkata from Munnar for attending the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) around July every year.
I spent 3 hectic days on 14th, 15th, 16th (Sunday) July 2023 attending the TTF 2023 at Biswa Bangla Fair venue from afternoon to late evening.
Lots of formal tie-ups have almost been sealed with hoteliers and resort owners throughout India. Quite a few properties will henceforth be designated as Indian Roadie Preferred Hotel for the benefit of members and followers of Indian Roadie and associated forums.
P.S: The benefits will be available to only those who are proactive in my initiatives and simultaneously 'support me' for financial sustenance of the rollout of Indien Roadie eGranth (eBook) periodically.
