Indian Roadie Tanmoy Das is in Kolkata since early May 2026 for an assignment. For local commuting he needed a scooty urgently. He booked a Suzuki Access 125.
He took delivery of a brand new mat black coloured Suzuki scooty from the Animesh Suzuki showroom in Baguiati on 2026-05-20 evening.
He had requested me to accompany him to the showroom and thereafter for the mandatory puja.
The delivery experience was anything but pleasant. Barring one young boy, the women on the floor were pretty rude and unprofessional. Suzuki products are good but the rude behaviour of shop floor employees left a bad taste in my mouth.
The delivery process got over at around 6.30 pm. The puja was performed by the friendly pujari of Baguiati Maa Kali Temple.
Post the puja rituals, we stopped by at the Taste N Bite franchise outlet on Rajarhat Road, opposite Loknath Mandir for some quick bite and 'adda'.
