How to lift the wipers in German cars

Are you wondering how to lift the wipers in German cars, viz. Volkswagen 🤔 

Switch off the engine and softly press the wiper switch lever down. 

I have owned a VW Vento since December 2014 but never knew about this feature all these years as recent as upto June 2023 😃.
