Saju Chacko of Greenridge Hotel drove Munnar to Kolkata for TTF2015 in July 2015

Indian Roadie members from across India have every reason to feel extra-comfortable in Munnar, Kerala because of the presence of an Indian Roadie Preferred Hotel in the picturesque hill station in God's Own Country! 

Me, Deep Banerjee (founder, IndianRoadie.in) with IndianRoadie Saju Chacko (MD, GreenRidge Holiday Home, Munnar, Kerala) at the De Empressa Hotel, Kyd Street, Kolkata on 2015-08-02 evening. 
Saju reached Kolkata on 2015-07-29 evening after driving down from Munnar to Kolkata (Munnar_Kolkata) via Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Rajahmundry, Vizag, Srikakulam, Brahmapur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur in his Mahindra XUV500 (Registration number KL-16K-2545) to promote his hotel at TTF 2015 (Travel & Tourism Fair) held in Netaji Indoor Stadium annexe from 2015-07-31 to 2015-08-02. 

Saju was assisted by me for planning his first ever roadtrip to Kolkata in July - August 2015, about 4 months after I myself drove Kolkata to Munnar (Kolkata_Munnar) in March 2015. 

His return drive to Munnar via Vizag was scheduled for 2015-08-05.

Saju Chacko, Greenridge Hotel, Munnar drove to Kolkata for TTF 2019 in July 2019

 

Friend and IndianRoadie  Saju Chacko is a hotelier by profession and  Director, Greenridge Hotel in the beautiful hill station of Munnar in Kerala. He has been driving to Kolkata from Munnar around July/ August every year for work at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) ever since 2015. 

In 2019, he was booked at Hotel Ivory Towers on Shakespeare Sarani, near Park Circus crossing in Kolkata. 

Met him on Sunday, 2019-07-14 evening and again on Thursday, 2019-07-18 evening. 

He reached Kolkata on Saturday, 2019-07-13 afternoon driving his XUV500 all alone via Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Chandipur-on-Sea. 

He left Kolkata early on Friday, 2019-07-19 for the return drive back home via Barkul, Nellore, Naidupeta, Kolar, Bangalore, Mysore, Ooty. 

I am always happy to be his virtual companion on the road, guiding him all along.

Munnar to Kolkata drive by Saju Chacko for TTF 2018 by Mahindra XUV500 in June - July 2018

This Cheetah (Mahindra XUV500 bearing the registration number KL-16K-2545) keeps prowling from Gods Own Country (Kerala) to Sweetest Part Of India (West Bengal) and back around the same time every year for 4 years in a row.

The initial inspiration for undertaking the hectic sales & marketing work related trips on road was sowed into hotelier friend Saju Chacko, the owner of two such Cheetahs by none other than me, Deep Banerjee (the founder of this forum), when I myself drove Kolkata to Munnar in March 2015 for the first time and stayed in his cozy hotel.

In the present edition of the drive, the itinerary so far has been as follows:
2018-06-28 Munnar - Tirupati.
2018-06-29 Tirupati - Vijaywada.
2018-06-30 Vijaywada.
2018-07-01 Vijaywada - Rajahmundry - Vizag.
2018-07-02 Vizag.
2018-07-03 Vizag - Ferry crossing on Chilka Lake - Cuttack.
2018-07-04 Cuttack - Kolkata.

Saju and his team of four more friends have been hosted in a safe, comfortable, affordable and conveniently located boutique IndianRoadiePreferredHotel in east Kolkata.

We keep interacting on the phone and WhatsApp for precision planning of his trips pan-India for quite a few weeks every year. I personally met him on 2018-07-04 evening to help him plan out the finer details of his work schedule for the few days of his stay in Kolkata.
