The procession of death on NH34 seems to be unending.

A collision close to the Ahiran Ganga River Bridge which is near Jangipur in Murshidabad district, West Bengal on 2017-02-10 between a laden multi-axle truck and a smaller truck took away the lives of 9 people.

The approach road to the bridge on both ends are in a pathetic state of disrepair for years at a stretch.
