What is L?
Many people do not know the functions of the L-gear
The L-gear can save your life some day.
1. When driving on a ramp, if you feel the vehicle is underpowered
Engage the stick into the L gear and the vehicle can easily climb an incline or a hill.
2. When starting a vehicle in the snow the wheels might tend to skid.
You can switch the gear to the L gear so that the vehicle can start smoothly.

Switch the gear shift to the L position and the vehicle can go down the steep slope safely.
4. When a vehicle passes through a waterlogged road section the gear can be put into the L gear.
If it is in the D gear it is easy to trigger the engine start-stop function.
If the vehicle stalls while on water, a second start may result in engine damage.
