The location of the bus in the video was approximately 12 kms from Udaipur (Himachal Pradesh) towards Killar on Keylong-Killar road in August 2020. The road ahead of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was washed away and passengers were left stranded. Left with no other option, the HRTC bus driver took the dangerous U-turn.
