EV car owner in Rajasthan fined ₹1500 for not having PUC certificate

Nagaur Police in Rajasthan fined a Tata EV car owner ₹1500 since the owner couldn't produce a valid PUC certificate. 

The policeman on duty was adamant to extort money from the car owner on some pretext or the other. It appears that the dumb police official was actually not aware that there's no scope for EVs to have PUC certificate. 

The hilarious incident happened sometime in mid April 2026.
