This car, a rented cab from the NCR had slowed down and was approaching the toll window when a truck rear-ended it. No wonders that the car hurtled ahead and hit the truck ahead of it. The car and its passengers got sandwiched between the two trucks.
Quite a few lives were lost and the car was totalled.
The incident happened on the Delhi - Chandigarh NH near Karnal in early January 2020.
#MORTH must do something about similar unfortunate incidents which keep happening at highway toll plazas at frequent intervals across the country.
