Terrible jam on NH48 in Thane district on 2025-10-15

If you are driving from Mumbai/ Thane/ Pune/ Goa towards Surat/ Bharuch/ Vadodara/ Ahmedabad or vice-versa, taking NH48 may NOT be a wise decision. Ever since March 2025 there have been reports of terrible jams and inordinate delays because of road construction work on the GQ between Ghodbunder Road (Thane) and MH-GJ border. On can consider driving via Nashik - Saputara - Valsad or vice-versa.
