Unlock 3 guidelines/ notification by MHA, Govt of India.
The guidelines will be be effective from 2020-08-01.

Advisory by Government of India for personal vehicular movements during Unlock 3.0 w.e.f 2020-08-01 has been announced.
Epass is not necessarily going away.

The central govt has issued a minimum guideline which the states cannot dilute. However the states are free to implement the guidelines more stringently with additional clauses if they deem it necessary.

For example, KA or KL have retained their epass systems without any modifications vis-a-vis during Unlock 2.0. TN has extended even the transit ePass system till Aug 31, 2020.

Rules for driving through HR, PB and entry into JK during Lockdown 2.0

E-pass + mandatory institutional/ paid quarantine till Covid test result + home quarantine for 14 days as per JK UT sop till end of Unlock 2.0, viz. 2020-07-31.
New rules for Unlock 3.0 starting from 2020-08-01 is not yet known.

Entry requirements to JK are stringent. lf anybody has to simply go and drop someone in Jammu, one can drop him/ her off at the PB-JK border so that he/ she can take a local car from Madhopur/ Lakhanpur to Jammu/ where ever.

Indian Roadie Preferred Route for Delhi to Jammu:
Delhi - Ambala - Ludhiana - Jalandhar - Jammu.
Jammu district entry point is urmandal bridge.


The Jammu district authorities allot a time and date for getting the test done as per latest orders.
If results are negative, home quarantine for 14 days is mandatory.

Punjab needs a mandatory transit ePass. One can register online through Punjab Govt Covid app COVA which will send a link of a barcode that one has to print and paste on windshield.
The bar code is scanned at HR - PB border at Shambhu toll plaza.

No transit ePass is required for travel through Haryana.
