Pune to Lucknow - Indian Roadie Preferred Route

Indian Roadie Preferred Route for Pune to Lucknow: 

Option 1: 

Pune - Nashik - Just short of Indore on Mumbai Agra highway turn right towards Bhopal, 4 lane good road - Bhopal - Sagar - Jhansi - Kanpur - Lucknow. 

After Bhopal if you follow Google Maps it will take you on a tour of villages in MP! Drive only via Sagar, without digressing from the highway. 

Option 2 (not recommended): 

Pune - Ahmednagar - Shirdi - Manmad 

Guna - Indore route is good. After Indore u can take agra-mumbai nh road which passes via indore and will go via dhule - malegaon -nasik and then u can take nasik pune highway its the best route and if u want bit shorter route to pune then u have to exit agra-mumbai highway near malegaon and enter state high which will go via manmad-shirdi-ahmednagar to pune but this route have potholes and very bad road stretch between shirdi-ahmednagar so if you want best quality roads then go via nasik to pune
