Bhagwat Prasad Pandey, MP Police Officer (Episode 01) is always Happy To Help

Madhya Pradesh cop, Bhagwat Prasad Pandey is schooling Covid-19 lockdown violators in his unique style and creative ways of policing ever since March - April 2020.
He has been spotted using mimicry and poetry to make people follow lockdown rules. Not just this, the real-life Robinhood Pandey is frequently seen helping the needy and elderly while on duty in the small district town of Sidhi and surrounding villages in Madhya Pradesh.
His ability to spontaneously say rhyming couplets is praiseworthy.
While fulfilling his responsibility, this able cop who is always seen on the road in his Mahindra Bolero, is surely giving us reasons to smile while urging people to stay at home.
Bhagwat Prasad Pandey is our perfect IndianRoadie. He deserves the proverbial 'carrot' in 'CarrotNStick'.
We in Indian Roadie wish him every success, happiness and career progression. India needs lots of able cops like him.
Bhagwat Prasad Pandey is a glowing example of how to use social media fruitfully for 'personal branding' and 'reputation management'.

Curfew imposed throughout Himachal Pradesh w.e.f 2020-03-24 evening to prevent further spread of Coronavirus

Curfew has been imposed in Himachal Pradesh from Tuesday, 2020-03-24 evening after people did not adhere to the lockdown in view of the CoronaVirus (Covid19) threat.

Earlier, it was clamped in Kangra and Una districts in the afternoon.

First, it was imposed in Covid-hit Kangra; later, Una was also added to the list to stem the  spread of the virus.

Earlier, Kangra district was under lockdown since two persons had tested positive for coronavirus on March 21.

On Monday, a 69-year-old Tibetan who had returned from the US and tested positive for coronavirus died at Tanda medical college. After that the administration sealed McLeodganj and nobody was allowed in and out of the hill station.

On Tuesday afternoon curfew was imposed in the entire district. Now nobody would be allowed to move out of homes.

The shops for essential commodities would open only for limited notified time and people would be allowed to buy provisions in notified timing only.  Kangra is the only district of Himachal where three people have tested positive for coronavirus.

It also recorded the first death due to coronavirus.

The  DC said curfew was being imposed as people were not adhering to the lockdown. Now any vehicle or person roaming around without any reason would be booked and arrested. With PTI

Maruti Gypsy Ambulance at Sissu, HP spotted again after 3 years

This is so Unbelievable!
Indian Roadie, Arjun Uberoi drove to Ladakh on a Ford Ecosport in August 2014.
At Sissu, he noticed this Maruti Gypsy ambulance with registration number HP-42-0083.

Arjun Uberoi had slept for a night inside this very ambulance during his Gurgaon - Ladakh bike trip with Motohawks India way back in August 2011.
Arjun recalls that on 17th August 2011 he started from Upshi and reached Sissu at 20:00 hrs and could not find a place to stay. He parked his bike, tried opening the Ambulance door and by chance it was open. Without blinking an eyelid he got inside and slept off.

Dense 'sal' forest between Sambalpur and Angul (Odisha)

Driving solo from Pune to Kolkata in my Mahindra Scorpio VLX Micro Hybrid Special Edition SUV, for work (a passion to develop a B-school as a Centre of Excellence in Sales & Marketing studies) & pleasure.
Dense 'sal' forest section between Sambalpur and Angul (Odisha).
On a chill winter morning in December 2012, the sun piercing through the trees was enough motivation to stop for a brief photo session.
