Bangalore to Shirdi, Shirdi to Bangalore road trip in November 2019

Update on drive from
- Bangalore to Shirdi via Pune, Ahmednagar and
- Shirdi to Bangalore via Sangamner, Chakan, Pune.

Bangalore to Shirdi (Bangalore_Shirdi):
Started at 0400 hrs from BLR with smooth roads till Chitradurga.
Chitradurga to Hubli bypass is filled with diversions on every 2 to 3 km, which would slow down progress.
Hubli bypass remains as-is with no changes, Crazy drivers on 2-laned road with high toll.
Belgaum - Nipani - Kolhapur - Satara has no issue.
Pune Crossing Via Katraj - Yerwada - Nagar road was time consuming but Pune administration has done some good work in proper diversion whilst constructing Metro, which proved helpful.
Roads till Ahmednagar are filled with patches, but manageable to do 60-80 kmph.
Ahmednagar onwards till Rahuri, is a mess with huge potholes with speed down to 20-40 kmph
Rahata entrance has been blocked for heavy vehicle entry upto Shirdi with police always on the  prowl. Road to Shirdi from Rahata is still full of potholes.
Reached Shirdi by 2210 Hrs.
Shirdi Stay was pleasant with nil heavy vehicle movement in the town, which meant walking around to nearby shopping plazas and temples easy.

Shirdi to Bangalore (
Shirdi_Bangalore):
Started at 2300 hrs from Shirdi for a change.
Took the Google route this time.
Took the road from Samadhi Mandir to Shirdi Airport  on to Sangamer.
Roads on this route were patchy, isolated, no street lights and amenities. Not idealistic for night drive.
Crossing Sangamer was a pain with only potholes on the road.
Road opened to NH60, with butter smooth roads.
Thereafter, it was Chakan - Pune - NH48 via Hinjewadi at 0330 am.
Roads from here till Hubli bypass were amazing with not many bad patches, except for few near Satara.
Hubli to Chitradurga strech is irritating with diversions.
Chitradurga to Bangalore, smooth roads, Reached home in Bangalore at 1630.
