I have personally been witness to the gory consequences of a brick or stone flying off like missiles from the wheels of moving trucks/ buses, not once but thrice in my driving tenure of over five decades!
Beware of stones/ bricks stuck between the rear tyres of a moving heavy vehicle ahead of you. A major disaster can happen any moment. Be High On Cognition. Either maintain reasonably safe distance or overtake at the first opportunity and make it a point to let the driver of the heavy vehicle know about the impending danger.
If the stone or bricks flies off from between the wheels of the vehicle ahead of you, there's no guarantee that the strong build quality of your vehicle will save you.
Therefore, instead of concentrating on some dumb navigation maps on the screen of a device in your car or some music that you immensely like, etc, etc, apply your God gifted intelligence and learn to expect the unexpected while driving.
None in the car should be allowed to peep out of the sunroof nor should it be kept open in a moving car or even a stationary car parked besides a highway.
