As many as 10 pilgrims returning to Hoshiarpur in Punjab from the Amarnath Yatra were injured when they started jumping out of a moving bus carrying 40 pilgrims after the bus driver informed them about the failure of its brakes.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 2024-07-02 at Nachlana near Banihal in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

The bus was stopped by the Quick Response Team of army and police personnel who placed stones on the road thus averting a serious accident on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
