The sad and suspicious incident happened in broad daylight on NH53 in Malkapur, Maharashtra in early July 2024. The injured victim lost his life lying unattended besides the road.
Although the car which hit him (almost intentionally) stopped, the driver seems to have got down only to have a cursory look at the victim from a distance before speeding away. No other road user, viz. car or bike stopped to help the grievously injured man
There's no further news if the car driver has been nabbed.
