Eateries from Bangalore to Coimbatore - Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe

The roads are really good, there is nothing to worry about. Its a flat 5 hr journey.

You shall find A2B just before and after Salem.

A2B

One at Rasipuram just after salem.

Sai Sangeeth just before Thoppur tollgate is better than A2Bs around there.
Crossing Salem is no more a difficult proposition because there are 3 flyovers that helps to cross the city of Salem in 10 to 15 minutes.
Good food joint is Sree Saravana Bhavan
Vangli Towers National Highway 7, Avathanapatti, Tamil Nadu 635101.

Beware of multiple imitations near Sree Saravana Bhavan, go to the exact location. There is a break in median near the authentic brand.
Sai Sangeet is good for North Indian items. After Salem before the next toll gate there is another branch of sree saravana bhavan. This is good for parking and toilets. However, items in the menu are limited.

Another excellent place but just 80 km before Coimbatore is Rukmani Ammal Vegetarian Restaurant,
Erode, Tamil Nadu 638052
04294 222 239
https://maps.app.goo.gl/6ZLyK

There's Junior Kuppanna also for non veg in the complex.

Nothing to worry. The roads are good.

Watch out for barricades all through the way.

Eateries.... You will find plenty of decent options on the way. To be precise at least one every 20 or 30 kms.

An early morning start from Bangalore will help reach Coimbatore in good time.

Drive out for brunch at Azad Hind Dhaba, Uluberia by Indian Roadie Nikhilesh Roy with friends on 2022-01-17

Brunch at Azad Hind Dhaba, NH16, Uluberia (40 kms from Victoria Memorial, Kolkata) with friends on Monday, 17/01/2022.
The sprawling dhaba with open air dining facilities and ample car parking is a perfect drive to destination which was introduced to us by Deep Banerjee about 6 years ago. The food and the ambience is too too too good.
Let the Covid situation improve a bit. We in Indian Roadie must drive out to this #IndianRoadiePreferredCafe for a day's outing.

Blue Lassi, Varanasi - Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe

We have all heard a lot about BLUE LASSI, the shop famous for Lassi in Varanasi. It's said that the name of the shop was given by a Korean girl years ago.

The taste is great with liberal mixes of dry fruits and 'malai'. However, be prepared to shell out a stiff ₹120 for a medium sized clay cup serving of the refreshing drink.

Drive for food to Karwar - Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe

Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe - Karwar and surroundings.

SHWETHA LUNCH HOME, Karwar, KA is just off NH66 (erstwhile, NH17), inside Karwar. https://goo.gl/maps/c527ZHFuDhv6A1EV9

AMRUTH HOTEL, Karwar, KA might score more with its ambience and environment.
They are famous for their crab masala preparation.

FISHLAND RESTAURANT
(https://goo.gl/maps/t5dSrH6mBYZYF7AG7).
Fishland Restaurant is about 12-15 kms from Karwar towards Goa.
While driving from Karwar to Goa, drive past both state check posts and after some distance past the defunct Entry Tax toll now in ruins). Thereafter, there's a right curve (famous for accidents). From there drive another 1 - 2 kms. Fishland Restaurant is on the left.
It's not a great place to sit, but definitely the best joint to satisfy the appetite of travellers.

Note: Be there at Karwar by 10 am for breakfast, 1 pm for lunch, 7.30 pm for dinner.

Usha Uthup at Trincas (Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe), Park Street in early 2020 and in the '60s

Usha Uthup at Trincas Restaurant, Park Street, Kolkata. Now and Live, recreated now for old times sake, that's how people remember life on Park Street! It's Trincas! Tables are still kept angular for guests to view the stage with least turning of the neck, like in the '60s 😊
Kolkata should be in your travel bucket list. At least half a day exploring the beauty of Park Street, Theatre Road (Shakespeare Sarani), Camac Street, Russell Street on foot with a meal in Trincas or any of the popular restaurants is a must.
