Indian Roadie Drive For Food to Kolaghat for Hilsa Fish (ilish maach) on 2020-07-04 by Sukanta Banerjee

Sukanta Banerjee, an Indian Roadie from Kolkata appears to have done a lot research on where to find the best Hilsa fish (ilish maach) in Kolaghat, a small town on the banks of Rupnarayan River and approximately 75 kms from Kolkata towards Bhubaneswar.
He has recommended fellow roadies to visit Vidyasaagar Morh in Kolaghat for the best and fresh hilsa fish (ilish maach). While driving towards Kolkata, one has to turn left just before the bridge to reach Vidyasagar Morh.
The best time to visit Kolaghat for fresh 'ilish maach' is supposedly from 5 pm - 7 pm.
Our fellow roadie drove to Kolaghat with family exclusive for 'ilish maach' on Saturday, 2020-07-04.
He bought 3 hilsas of 900 - 950gms each @ ₹750 per kg. The price included removing the scales and slicing the fish according to his instructions.
He got some cooked out there itself. The taste and aroma was said to be awesome as expected.
