Bhutan might lift restrictions on tourism after second dose of COVID-19

Bhutan is hopeful of lifting restrictions on tourism after second dose of COVID-19 vaccination for all its citizens living in the country.
Bhutan started the vaccination process on 2021-03-27.
Till early June 2021, 95 percent of the eligible population in Bhutan had already received the first dose of vaccines. The record-breaking nationwide campaign was carried out with Oxford-AstraZeneca (Covishield) vaccines gifted by the government of India.
Bhutan has recently received 5850 doses of Pfizer vaccines just enough to vaccinate about 2900 people with both doses.
