A Kia Seltos (MH-31FR-3314) carrying five people including three ladies hit a culvert at dangerously high speed and split into two on Nagpur (MH) - Chindwara (MP) National Highway at around 5.30 pm on Friday, 2021-06-11. The mishap occurred while trying to save a motorcyclist which had suddenly come into its way.
The accident spot was near Dreamland City Hotel between Ramkona and Sausar.
Three women sitting on the rear seat died on the spot while the gentleman driving the car, Sachin Jaiswal and his co-passenger Neelam Jaiswal sustained critical injuries and were shifted to Nagpur Medical College and Hospital.
The women who died in the gory crash are: Roshni Jaiswal (35), w/o. Anup Jaiswal of Sausar, in Chindwara,
Madhuri Jaiswal (37), w/o. Anand Jaiswal of Sausar, in Chindwara,
Priya Jaiswal (34), w/o. Sachin Jaiswal of Kalmeshwar in Nagpur.
Roshni and Madhuri were related to each other as 'devrani' and 'jethani'.
There was a pre-marriage ceremony at Sachin Jaiswal's maternal uncle's place at Ramkona on Friday morning. The 'phera' (actual marriage) was scheduled for the same evening in Ramkona. The ladies wanted to change their attire at their own house in Sausar and also visit their favorite beauty parlour to deck themselves up for the programme later in the evening in Ramkona again.
Sachin was in a hurry driving the ladies from Ramkona to Sausar and that is when the accident occurred.
