S Ganoo completed a 2100 km road trip to Gujarat from Mumbai in early November 2021.
* Mumbai - Navsari - Vadodara.
Amazing highway all throughout. Lucky to avoid heavy traffic.
* Vadodara - Junagadh - Gir.
Excellent road condition, barring some sections where work is on. Vasad to Tarapur stretch is the best.
* Junagadh - Somnath.
Amazingly good road.
* Somnath - Diu.
Amazingly good road.
* Diu - Alang - Bhavnagar.
Distance is only about 200+ kms, but it will be arduous and not too many places to stop for rest and refreshments.
4 laning work in progress for almost the entire stretch. Only about 20 kms is ready.
* Bhavnagar - Vadodara via NH8 (old number).
Fantastic road condition.
* Vadodara - Ankleshwar - Surat - Manor - Mumbai.
No Covid19 related checks took place during entire trip anywhere in MH or GJ.
