A roadie drove from Bangalore to Goa on 7th July 2022 and returned on 13th July 2022. He took the Tumkur - Hiriyur - Hosadurga -Shimoga - Jog Falls - Karwar route during his onward journey. It was an absolutely beautiful and scenic route especially with monsoon in its full glory. There were no hiccups anywhere whatsoever.
During the return drive he wanted to take the shortest route and therefore took the Goa - Anmod Ghat - Ramnagar - Dharwad - Davangere - Chitradurga - Tumkuru - Bangalore route via NH48.
Anmod ghat was a bit tricky due to early morning mist and incessant rains. There were a few rough patches from Ramnagar to Dharwad but was easily manageable. NH48 anyways is always a breeze post Dharwad
