An ambulance carrying a patient with two attendants besides the driver braked while approaching the Shirur Toll Plaza in Karnataka, skidded and overturned a little after 4 pm on Wednesday, 2022-07-20. The patient and both attendants died on the spot. According to news sources, an employee at the toll plaza also died in the mishap.
The ambulance was South bound and had started its journey from Honnavar.
