BMW crash near Sultanpur on Purvanchal Expressway at 230 kmph on 2022-10-14






‘Chaaro marenge,’ said victims on Facebook Live just before they died chasing 300kmph in BMW. 
Four people died lost their lives when a BMW being driven at 230 kmph collided with a container truck on the Purvanchal Expressway near Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Friday 2022-10-14. 
A video of the four victims speeding the BMW had gone viral on social media. The victims were chasing 300 kmph on Facebook Live when the incident happened. 
The video started with one of the victims saying “charo marenge”. The victims were chasing 300 kmph and had reached 230 kmph when the video stopped. 
Victims can be seen and heard enjoying the ride and encouraging the driver to speed up to chase 300 kmph speed. 
The portion of the road where the accident took place had sunk due to heavy rain recently. 

Four of the victims have been identified as 35-year-old Dr. Anand Prakash from Dehri, 35-year-old Akhilesh Singh and 37-year-old Deepak Kumar both from Aurangabad district, Bhola Khushwa from Rohtas district in Bihar.  

Those who lost their lives: 


Deepak Anand was a resident of Shivpur Dehri village of Bihar's Aurangabad. He was the son-in-law of Dehri's famous Dr. Nirmal. Deepak was married to Dr. Nirmal's niece Anita. Deepak was an engineer by profession and has left behind two children.

Akhilesh Singh was the son of Vinay Kumar Singh, a resident of Mahsi village of Obra, Aurangabad. Vinay Kumar Singh worked in the PHD department. Later, after retiring, Akhilesh got his father's job.

Dr Anand Prakash was married last year in Aurangabad district. The father of the deceased, Dr. Nirmal Kumar is known as a well-known doctor in the area. He was the leader of Janata Dal United (JDU). Deepal was in-charge of the Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency from JDU. The deceased was the youngest of the two brothers.

Dr Anand Prakash's relative Bhola Khushwaha, whose village is Balbhadrapur in Rohtas district, also died in the car crash. Bhola was the only child of his parents and he also had a 4-year-old son. He was a businessman by profession.
