Earlier in the evening I had coincidentally spotted another crowded Faltu Tea Centre, opposite Ladies Park, C.I.T Road, Entally, Kolkata 700014. Little did I predict that I will be sipping tea at their main outlet near Moulali later in the evening.
Visited for 'chai' in kulhad/ bhaad with an acquaintance (not an Indian Roadie) on Thursday 2023-07-13 evening after a microscopic sized 'egg devil' from Chokher Khide, near Entally Market, about 150 mtrs away. I am not a chai lover. Therefore, can't comment with surety if the chai was good or average. However, the heavy congregation of office return crowd of young men and women having bread toast 🍞 with butter, and other items and of course chai gave me the impression that it's amongst the popular Pocket Friendly Food Options in Kolkata.
P.S: Going by the signage, it's evident that the owner is highly confused between the spelling of 'center' and 'centre' like roadies who feel that one has to 'break' to stop a car.
Incidentally, the shop next door in the same building premises, viz. Shop 8 is Glass Engineers. They repair small damages in car windshield glasses. I understand that this windshield repairing outlet has already earned quite a bit of goodwill for themselves from satisfied customers.
