Karnataka Trails - Solo drive by Mitra Satheesh in December 2020. 

I (Mitra Satheesh) planned my trip through some of the most scenic places like Hethur and the drive through Bisle ghat on a foggy morning was one of the best drive stretch. 
🔸Route : Cochin - Iritty - Coorg - Sakleshpur -  Belur - Belavadi - Halebidu - Shravanabelagola - Melkotte - Thondannur - Mysore - Nilambur - Cochin
🔸Car : Scross 
Total kilometers : 1518
Diesel : 74 ltrs
Mileage : 20.5 kmpl 
🔸Pass required : E pass required for Tamilnadu. Was checked while entering Nadukani. Registration in jagratha portal of kerala state. was checked at vazhikadavu checkpost
🔸Quarantine : 7 days quarantine with antigen test on 7th day after entering Kerala
🔸Climate : Warm during daytime and cold during night at Coorg. Hot during day time and cool during night at Belur Halebidu. Cloudy during day time and cold during night at Melkote
🔸Things I did  : Scenic drive across Karnataka country side especially Bisleghat road , Places related to Haleri dynasty in Coorg , Temples related to Hoysala empire , Culture of Kodavas and Melkotte Iyengars , Temples relates to Ramanuja at Melkotte and Thondannur

1. At Coorg - Blue Mountain homestay , Napoklu @ 1200/ night inclusive of bf 
2. At Kushalnagar - Palmera resort @ 3k / night inclusive of bf  
3. At Halebidu - Ktdc Mayura - 1300/night 
4. At Melkote - Friends home
