* Swarg Ashram and surroundings.
* Neelkanth Mahadev Temple (remains extremely crowded in July - August because of festivals).

Tandoori Chai in Raipur serves tea in 'kulhar' with a great message

Marketing lesson for every Indian Roadie from a 'chai' (tea) vendor on the road in Raipur, Chattisgarh.
The communication perfectly connects with target customers.
It's simple yet impactful copywriting at its best 👌
Every Indian Roadie is a consumer across categories. As a matter of fact, all roadies are B2C consumers and B2B decision makers in purchase deals.

Pathetic state of Kolkata on 2021-09-20 after the de facto Mayor of Kolkata cum cabinet Minister worked tirelessly for citizens of the wasted metropolis

The administrative head of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), the de facto Mayor of Kolkata had tirelessly worked for the citizens of Kolkata to land them into this situation on 2021-09-20 😡

The KMC head had cried in front of cameras, 'Ora Aamake Manusher Jonyo Kaaj Korte Dilo Na' after being arrested by CBI for accepting bribes in the infamous Narada Sting Operation by Mathew Samuel.

After the unprecedented deluge the Madrasa 'chaap' man has said that water from Uttarakhand (yes, you read it right) was responsible for this.

This is the Kolkata we live in and drive on after 34 years of cunning Commie rule and 10 years of utter misrule!

Shreya Kalra, a social influencer from Indore danced on a zebra crossing ostensibly to convey a social message

Shreya Kalra, a vlogger (social influencer) from Indore started dancing on the zebra crossing of a busy road in Indore, the moment the traffic light turned red. It was sometime around mid September 2021.
The video of the dance went viral.
Indore Police did not find her performance amusing. They have sent her a show cause notice for her weird act. The person who recorded the video has also been sent a notice.
Shreya claims that it was her initiative to make roadies follow traffic rules and stop when the light turns red.
People indeed perform unbelievable acts, ostensibly to convey social messages but primarily to catch eyeballs.

EV Scooty owner in Bangalore hauled it up to the kitchen of his 5th floor apartment for recharging

A Bengaluru executive hauled his EV scooty all the way up to his 5th floor kitchen to charge it after losing a fight with the Residents Association to install a charging point in his society's parking. The kitchen ‘jugaad’ made quite a buzz, first on LinkedIn and then in the Electrical Vehicle world.
This was on a day when Ola was supposed to roll out its EV scooter. However, the bookings of Ola scooty have been delayed by a week due to a website glitch.
Vish Ganti, vice-president (product management & GM) of AutoGrid India, wrote about what happened on his LinkedIn account and attached an actual picture of the scooty in the kitchen.
“My apartment community in the so-called EV capital of India (Bengaluru) wouldn’t let me install an EV charging point after trying to educate them and fighting an uphill battle for four months. So I decided to load up my scooter in the elevator and bring it up to my unit on the fifth floor to charge it in the kitchen, as a sign of protest and to create awareness of this ground reality,” his post read.

Excitement of driving around Paris on a Ferrari 275 GTB reaching 260 kmph

In August 1976, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch adapted a gyroscope camera in the front of a Ferrari 275 GTB, and invited a friend, a professional Formula 1 driver, to make a journey in the heart of Paris to the greatest  possible speed before clearing up the day.
The film should last 10 minutes and the route would go from Porte Dauphine through the Louvre to the SacreCoeur basilica.
Lelouch did not get permission to close any streets on the dangerous journey.
The pilot completed the circuit in less than 9 minutes, reaching up to 260 km per hour at certain times.
The film shows him passing red lights, dodging pedestrians, scaring off pigeons, and driving one-way streets at dawn.
When the film was first presented to the public, Claude Lelouch was arrested.
But he never revealed the name of the Formula 1 driver that day, which is speculated to have been either René Arnoux or Jean-Pierre Jarier.
The film was banned and would only be shown in Underground theaters.
If you haven't seen the classic yet, hold your breath and watch it below.
Enjoy the excitement of driving around Paris on a Ferrari 275 GTB, it's worth it.

Straight stretches between Sedam and Kodangal can be made capable for landing fighter planes

While driving from Gulbarga to Hyderabad (via Sedam) there are uninterrupted straight stretches of 4 - 7 kms between Sedam (after Vasabdatta Cement plant) and Kodangal (both in Karnataka).

A small stretch of this road can be widened and strengthened and made capable for fighter planes to land and take off.

I drove on this low traffic density straight stretch during my 6800 kms drive from Kolkata and back to all the 5 states in South India, Konkan coast, Goa, Maharashtra.

I could almost fly on this specific stretch (as mentioned above) at times during my single day's drive from Goa to Vijaywada via Hyderabad on 2015-04-02.

Straight stretch of NH19 between Dankuni and Palsit toll plaza can be made capable for landing fighter planes

Landing a fighter plane between Dankuni and Palsit (on NH19 enroute to Bardhaman from Kolkata) can get an IAF pilot addicted. He will never want to land on his officially designated runway in future.

Widening and strengthening a mere 5 kms stretch of the existing road a bit might make the landing and take off a very viable option if the need arises. The biggest challenge for authorities will be to manage the traffic density.

However, after 6.30 pm the same stretch on the reverse direction towards Kolkata is a nightmare with hundreds of sand/ stonechips laden trucks vying to enter the city after 9 pm.

Blue Lassi, Varanasi - Indian Roadie Preferred Cafe

We have all heard a lot about BLUE LASSI, the shop famous for Lassi in Varanasi. It's said that the name of the shop was given by a Korean girl years ago.

The taste is great with liberal mixes of dry fruits and 'malai'. However, be prepared to shell out a stiff ₹120 for a medium sized clay cup serving of the refreshing drink.
