Restrictions on vehicular movement on Vidyasagar Setu for 8 months from 2023-11-01

Renovation/ maintenance work on Vidyasagar Setu (Second Hooghly Bridge) connecting Kolkata and Howrah has begun on Wednesday 2023-11-01. 

There will be traffic restrictions on movement of heavy and medium vehicles for 8 months upto 2024-06-30 by which time the renovation/ maintenance work is expected to get over. There will be some restrictions on movement of small vehicles, too.
