Vadodara - Saputara - Nashik - Shirdi - Vadodara road trip during the short iwali 2023 holidays by Abhishek Roy.
Day 0: We Started our road trip on Friday 10th November 2023 night from Vadodara to Nashik via Saputara and returned to Vadodara on Tuesday 14th November 2023.
Day 1: On the 11th morning we reached Saputara sunrise point at 4:30 am, and had a power nap in our vehicle. After having breakfast in Saputara, we continued for Nashik.
In Nashik We had a pleasant stay at MTDC Grape Valley Resort near Gangapur Dam for 3 nights. The resort is situated by the lake with a great view and greenery. The only minus point is that food is expensive in comparison to quantity and in spite of the government operating the resort, they serve food in cheap fiber dishes like roadside eateries.
Day 2: On 12th November we visited Shirdi Sai Baba temple for his blessings from Nashik and returned to Nashik. It's around 120Kms from Nashik. We had taken VIP tickets in advance from the Shirdi App. Had a chance to drive in the newly built Mumbai- Nagpur Highway for around 50kms. Hats off to Gadkari ji for marvelous roads all over India.
Day 3: On the 13th we visited Sula wines and Pandav pen caves in Nashik.
Day 4: On 14th we drove back to Vadodara.
Total distance: 1170Kms
Fuel Consumed: Approx 53 Itrs
Toll tax in entire trip: ₹820
