Mumbai to Ganpatipule

Long duration scenic drive with ferry crossing options: 

Mumbai - Alibuag - Murud - Diveagar - Harnai - Guhagar - Jaigad - Ganpatipule. 

There are 5 ferry crossings on this route, viz. 

a) Mumbai-Mandwa. 

b) Rajapuri-Dighi. 

c) Harihareshwar- Bankot

d) Dhabol. 

e) Jaigad. 

Time: 12 hrs 30 mins. 

Very scenic route. Roads are double lane but good. It's way better than Mahad section. 

Timetable of ferries are not fixed. 

People have experienced 3 pm last ferry (no more ferries due to low tide, seen many cars returning). Taken 10 pm ferry also (Bankot to Harihareshwar).

Seen ~30 cars standing in queue at Jaigad and waiting for 2 hours to board. 

But experience is worth trying.
