Road trip from Bangalore to Jaipur (Bangalore_Jaipur) via places of interest by Digvijay Singh in December 2021.
Completed in 3 days straight.
Route taken:
Bangalore - Chitradurga - Bijapur - Solapur - Aurangabad - Indore - Ujjain - Chittorgargh - Kishangarh - Jaipur.
Day-1
Bangalore to Chitradurga. Normal traffic and divider roads good condition.
Chitradurga to Bijapur awesome 4lane roads with very less trafic.
Bijapur to Solapur outer is very good 4lane
Some 20 kms road which goes through Solapur is not good single road till Solapur bridge.
From Ule - Osmanabad - Beed - Aurangabad awesome 4lane roads.
Stayed in Aurangabad.
Day-2
From Aurangabad to Kannad ghat road is single lane but in very good condition.
After Kannad ghat and across Chalisgaon some 60 kms is single road with lots of speed breakers and bad roads.
From Dhule to Indore with truck traffic good 4lane roads.
Stayed in Indore.
Day 3
Indore to Ujjain very good roads
Ujjain to Jaora is single lane very good roads.
Jaora to Chittorgarh is good 4lane roads.
Chittorgarh to Nasirabad awesome 6lane highway.
Nasirabad to Kishangarh is 6lane highway in progress with lots of diversions but in good condition.
Kishangarh to Jaipur 6lane highway.
Vehicle: Mahindra XUV700 petrol.
Lots of eateries throughout.
Very few food options between Ujjain and Jaora.
This trip included visits to Golgumbaj in Bijapur, Ellora Caves, Grushneshwar Temple in Aurangabad, Ujjain Mahakal.
Apart from regular breaks and including 1 hr daily afternoon nap.
