Pune to Ghaziabad/ Delhi (Pune_ Delhi) via Indore-Agra by Rishabh Kaushik in late November 2020.

Day 1: 
Pune - Sangamner - Nashik - Malegaon - Dhule - Indore. 

Distance 650 kms in 14 hrs with several halts. 

Pros - 
Overall good roads especially in Madhya Pradesh. 
Seamless FASTag operation
Busy highway. Abundant roadside amenities. 

Cons - 
Spine jarring speed breakers (not bumps) on entire Dhule - Indore stretch
Tip: Complete Pune - Sangamner in wee hours to avoid traffic. 

Day 2: 
Indore - Dewas - Guna - Shivpuri - Gwalior (via Naugaon) - Morena - Agra - Yamuna Expressway (YEW) -Noida/ Greater Noida/ Delhi/ Ghaziabad. 

Distance 850 kms in 15 hrs with 04 halts. 

Pros - 
Indore - Gwalior is brilliant (500 km in 6-7 hours easily). 
Seamless FASTag operation. 
Moderate traffic and scenic route vis-a-vis  Mumbai - GJ - RJ - Delhi. 

Cons -
Gwalior - Agra stretch is tiresome especially around Morena. 
Highway amenities are limited/ upcoming on Indore - Gwalior route. 
Toll for Agra inner ring road  is Cash/ Card only and not FASTag. 
Abundant stray cattle till Agra.
