Ravindra Narayan Kale drove from Pune to Goa and onwards to Gokarna, Murudeshwar, Udipi and back in April 2023.
Day 1: Start from pune рел am. Reached Madgaon at 3 pm after lunch in Panjim.
Pune - Kolhapur - Nipani - Ajara - Amboli - Sawantwadi - Panjim - Madgaon.
Stayed at Hotel Nanutel Madgaon.
Day 2: Left Madgaon for Gokarna (3 hrs drive with halts) after breakfast.
Stopped at Karwar to visit Naval Museum. Also stopped for a while at Idagunji Ganapati Temple.
Checked in at Hotel Namaste Samudra, Gokarna.
Day 3: Gokarna to Murudeshwar (2 hrs 30 mins). Stopped at Mookambika Temple, Murudeshwar Temple enroute.
Stayed at Hotel RNS, Murudeshwar.
Day 4: Murudeshwar to Malpe, near Udipi.
Enroute stopped at Maravanthe Beach with Arabian Sea on the right and river on left.
Checked in at Hotel Paradise Isle Beach Resort, Malpe for 3 nights.
In Udipi there's Shrikrishna Temple.
From Malpe drove to and fro Shringeri Math on Day 5 and to and fro Dharmasthal on Day 6.
Day 7: Malpe (Udipi) - Murudeshwar - Gokarna (took ROR at Gokarna) - Yellapur - Kittur - Belgaum - Kolhapur.
Checked in at Hotel Vrushali in Kolhpaur.
Day 8: Kolhapur - Satara - Pune
Most of the temples had dress code for men and women for entry, viz. white lungi for men and saree/ churidar kameez for women. White lungi can be bought at the entrance of temple in Gokarna.
