Road trip to Andulpota, near Basirhat, West Bengal in July 2021

Road trip from Kolkata to Andulpota. 

From Kolkata, drive to Basirhat in North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal. 

Kolkata (Salt Lake Stadium) to Basirhat College = 60 kms/ 2 hrs. 

Basirhat college to Andulpota = 9.5 kms/ 20 mins. 

Turn left from Basirhat College and drive/ ride straight to Chapapukur railgate. From the railgate travel another 5 kms to reach Andulpota. 

The accompanying video was clicked during sunrise at 5.30 am in July 2021. There's huge expanse of water body on both sides of the meandering road. 

Note: The same quaint location gets somewhat crowded in the late afternoons.
