Rusting of brake discs and/or brake drums are normal

When the wheels were removed from the hubs for the first time in 2 months after the car purchase, the brake drums and brake discs looked rusty. 

Is this rusting normal and that too within 2 months. 

Answer: Yes, it's absolutely normal to notice rust on the disc brakes in every brand and variant of car irrespective of the age of the car. 

Drive for a couple of kilometres, the rust will vanish from the disc brakes. 

Most cars in India, barring the expensive ones come with brake drums for the rear wheels. If you are overtly concerned, you can choose to colour the outer visible surface of the brake drums once in a while.
