Construction of Likaru - Mig La - Fukche Road, highest in the world commenced on 2023-08-15

Border Roads Organization started construction of Likaru - Mig La - Fukche Road on India's 77 Independence Day on 2023-08-15. 

Once completed, the road will pass through an altitude of 19,400 feet and will be the world's highest motorable road surpassing the road in Umling La.
